Desert Dawn Oh apprehensive sky All that I can see Why do you deny? The thirst that reigns in me Your panoramic colors change Softly hue the landscapes strange And reach and reach do I For you, oh apprehensive sky Would you let me wither here? Parched and pale as wheat Dancing in the breezes sear Languished in the heat Some may see reluctance there The show of thoughtless doubt Yet left so deeply full to spare The moist of most seeps out Oh apprehensive sky All that I can see Held inside, flow waters shy Cascade your rain on me Copyright Kkh 8/14/09 |
