Drawn Across the Bow The flowered wands of wheat dance Swan Lake; to the symphony of winds Moving me, from the roots to the tree tops Flexible vengeance, in quintessential shimmer Soft as a slumbering sun, hidden in the fluffed down of clouds Whispering the spells of thunder, awash the golden heads of hay Bouquet in your hands, bent in supple bliss, reed to bass Lip to song, we are this music through time Season and offering, each note a complimentary kind To be this, is the sound of my heart drawn across the bow Copyright Kkh 8/12/09 |

Kathleen, Some poems read like peace ~ this one does to me. It's soothing and beautiful. I need both tonight to help work out the tension in my shoulders. Thank you. Alison |
