It's a tiny little box, this place where I almost live. Sitting in a parking lot surrounded by silent, empty cars. Four walls, one door and three picture windows. I sit in my rolly chair watching life drive by. From time to time I'll get a visitor. They give me money or gripe at me for something that isn't my fault but their's instead. This box is my home, away from home. Where I sit for four or five hours at a time. It's peaceful, though not quiet and it gives me time to reflect on many things in life, sometimes even life's meaning. Not technically my own, this little box is a part of me. The nice thing about it is that I get paid to sit and watch over things. A job so easy and nice, but not without it's stressors. So day by day I sit, watching life pass by, in my tiny little box, under a clear blue sky. ~Dreamer05~ July 20th, 2009 |

nice poem.. it really shows you sit and question things a lot.. forgive if i am wrong but maybe if things get too boring to try and jump on a band wagon or go for a walk.. become the story.. dont let the story become you.. |

I like it and sometimes we can't get up and leave. You described it well and I like that you enjoy the time to think. A |
