Shove me to the ground where I am now, where my heart is, where I belong. shove me to the ground. I won't get up I'll stay this time. I accept it. Shove me to the ground. the filthy awful ground. This poem is much like the place I work for a living. Hard to tell when the tornado leaves who it took and who if brought to us. I try to keep out of the way of falling tree branches and spinning houses. No telling what witches are hiding in those houses. But then I have only three years left before retirement. Of course, it might not be that long. Maybe a buy out will be offered? hell of a poem cross. May I call you Cross? |
