Streets of Chicago She doesn't shy away from the responsibilities of her work, on the contrary she takes on extra duties, tasks and assignments, accepting other waitresses shifts when they're sick or on vacations, doing extra duties in the kitchen cutting up lemons, limes and onions and tomatoes. All of these things she doesn't do because she loves her work, although she does truly enjoy it, but not the time away from her family. She does these things because this is a tough world, and she needs the extra money to raise her family, for now more than ever, its expensive raising two daughters on the robust streets of Chicago, yes it is... Ah yes many a person is struggling these days, and not everybody understands this. A very fine and caring poem written from the heart that truly appreciates the things your lady does. Heart2Heart |
