It played my mind just like a song While heart it spun in dizzy spin Mere words did simply not belong Just thoughts that let the dance begin ----- We danced in gaze and smile of touch As moment shared its time and grace Just minutes but each meant so much In moments bless and dancing space And there we were in breathless end Still smiling in our time of chance And though it all had been pretend Together there we both did dance And we shall dance and meet each day Be grateful for our friendship bliss For distance does not take away The dance we had and goodbye kiss |
