When will it end

We all weep, eventually.
Mostly for who we love,
but for ourselves too
for me, it's always there, at the surface

I feel ready to break
It would feel better to be
a shattered piece of glass
at least the pain would be gone.

There's no point anymore,
but I get up in the morning,
knowing I can't stop the inevitable
someone, anyone, please end the hurt.

CC, this truly aches. Whenever I have felt that way, I repeatedly say to myself out loud ~ "and this too, shall pass". ~ And thank goodness, it does. Perhaps not as quickly and painlessly as I would like, but it does pass.
