Would that I could but touch that which burns so
Thou art resplendent in all thy glory
As to cause harm dealt by the cruelest blow
Yet I cannot resist to write thy story
I would but for just a touch, crawl on glass
A prayer I would pray nothing shall impede
As determined to seek thee to the last
For any cost would I pay to fill this need
Just one touch, one caress to make things whole
Even if just for a moment in time
Would be enough to save a damaged soul
Enough to quench the fire in this mind

Nothing will end the pain of you and me
Not until night falls as I lay with thee
