I'll Take My Words with Me....

A Romantic Heart

Forever In Your Heart

I can see between the lines,
of black and white,
do not despair,
I'll ride that horse,
straight out of town,

What words are to you,
are more to me,
pieces of my soul,
a mirror they reflect.

Tiny births of children,
the love, time, birthing pain,
into each line, emotion,
passion and color, substance,

Throw your stones,
around this glass house,
see it shatter and break,
causing the earth to quake,

Vain whisperings of gossip,
the "s" letter and the outcast,
punished for abnormal,
from the abnormal themselves.

As I hold my head high,
walking away,
I'll remove the color,
out of your world,

But the colorless have no color,
a dull grey, "normal" boring world,
where the highlight of the day,
is to talk mean about others.

As I move on down this journey,
moving up and above, beyond,
I'll dust my shoes,
and I'll take my words with me.

I dream in fantasy, because reality is scary~Millette (ARH)

I love your attitude in this one R.H. It seems the "Romantic Heart" is also a very brave and couragous one too. I know what your speaking of here in this piece. Sometimes creative people are just not understood by others. Their passion for things is misunderstood. I saw a tee-shirt once that read "You laugh at me cause I'm different. I laugh at you cause your not" I love that saying.

Be strong and save your color and talented words for someone who will enjoy them.
