WHAT IS HAPPINESS

Some people skimp and scrape and save
And make their goal retirement day,
But they’d find the paths of life, less marked with strife
If they lived and laughed along the way.

When the chips are really down
And trouble shoots her darts,
If the ones concerned, to laugh had learned,
There would be less of broken hearts.

If, as couples go through life
They together share their load,
They’ll find happiness along the way
Not necessarily at the end of the road.

Things are never as bad as they seem
In the light of another day,
Don’t cross your bridges before you come to them
And you’ll find happiness along the way.
