                       A Friend.

            A friend goes with you.
   They will stand by you as you explore the new.
     And yet still be your connection to the old
    When they are with you the world does not seem so cold.

              A friend stands by you.
      Through thick and thin an everything you do.
       A friend is someone who will never leave
             She is my hearts reprieve

A friend will also stick by you knowing who you really are, faults and all.

This is very true. A real true friend is always there. If not, then they never were really a friend.
