A Poet that Prays I look at everything around me And what do I see? Family killin’ Family All of this happening yearly I see children Being abused Family doesn’t believe them All that I’m sayin’ is the Truth I see pregnant teenagers And irresponsible fathers I see mothers struggling to make ends meet Who are living on the streets. I see people being hated For whom they choose to love Isn’t that judgment for the God above? People think they cannot be trusted Just for having a another opinion The world hisses At those who are different The world shuns Those who don’t run And so the wave of hatred has begun I see mothers cry Who lost their children in a pointless war Their memory has left a scar That no one can heal A mother that didn’t get a chance to say goodbye I see people who turn to depression Who’ve been broken Who don’t know how to deal Who don’t want to feel I feel like I want to fix everything But the world is not going to be immaculate All I know is that this poet, Is just going to keep praying. Always, |

Dear Kai, My frog-poem offer still stands. I like this poem. Paul I love my dog, and my truck. It's that simple, really. |

I feel like I want to fix everything And may you never lose this desire to change things for the better! I join my voice with yours in prayer. May the awakening to Love continue. I appreciated your well written poem. Love, Margherita |
