DEAR SUE, You might feel lonely, but you're not alone, so many friends that care about you Sue. Soulmates, but living far away alas, who know about, what you've been through. So brave you were, to leave your life behind, when things got rough and simply wouldn't end. Great respect for how you choose your path and so glad that I can call you friend. Life sucks sometimes and isn't always fair, but you are strong, I've seen it in the past. Don't let what's been, withhold you from the search, to happiness that will forever last. I mainly liked this poem because you showed REAL honesty and sincerity for your friend, and to me, that's what poetry is all about- it comes from inside you... and obviously your friend is in your heart  Loved the words- loved the poem! Always, |

Awwww Titia, my friend! You have touched my heart with this most treasured poem. Yes, you have been there from the start. Just like so many of the Pipsters here. Without you and the others, I don’t know what would have happened. You know me well in that, I DON’T GIVE UP too easily. And, that I am indeed A FIGHTER. But, there are those days, when the loneliness does overwhelm me. It’s those times, when I remind myself, how it was back then. And, I might even reach out (something I don’t do) to someone, like I did you. Thank you my dear sweet friend, so far away, for being there. I’ll let you in on a little secret, though. You aren’t too far away. Because you are right here inside my heart. I just wish I could reach out and give you a BIG HUG. But, I guess this will have to do.  Thank you so much for this wonderful poem. I am going to print it off and keep it forever. |
