Forever In Your Heart

Icy chill, cold winds blow,
dark clouds overcast,
bare, empty streets,

Frozen ghosts, buried,
loneliness is comfort,
the only comfort found.

Sitting here, needing love,
freezing, wanting held,
to be someones "special",

My lovelight is slowly fading,
this journey has left me wondering,
if true love really exist,

I look around seeing mean faces,
filled with years of pain,
betrayal and deceit.

Worn faces, abrasions of time,
will I too become one of them?
a harden soul, mad at the world?

Why is it so hard to love?
time ends up changing us all,
good or bad, it shapes us.

It's lonely here in Russia,
tears are like snow falling,
frozen fragments of pain,

I want to travel home,
to warm and cozy arms,
arms that love and protect.

It's really cold here in Russia,
they are calling for a blizzard,
I wonder if I will make it out alive?

Or will I become one of the ghost?,
left to starve, to die,
frozen in the cold.

I dream in fantasy, because reality is scary~Millette (ARH)

Yo dear A Romantic Heart,

Russia is a northern nation. Just like North America. That's why the United States and Russia get along so well, titter-titter. We're both just trying to survive the cold. Climate means everything.

Romantic Heart! wow I love winter poems and with the saga of love lost and love found, It makes Russia seem so real and chilly cold lol sounds like you needed a sleigh ride to cheer you up! lol
