There was a time when I would cry, and ask God Why? There was a time when I would hope, and look for the light. There was a time when I trusted and cared, never doubting a word. But each new thing, lessens these more. Each new find, leaves me wondering why. Changed names, places, pictures, all deceiving along and along. Now I give up, I will just go home. To cry no more. |

A sorry tale for a lot but when you think about it, home is a good place. In each bad experience we gain knowledge, and through that we enjoy the good times more, and get better at avoiding the bad ones? Well done! Carpe' Diem, |

Very insightful, dear Lisa. This is the real power we have, but sometimes are not aware of. Beautiful! Love and hugs. Margherita |

We may never know the reasons "Why". I was once told, things happen for a reason. But, it would be nice to know the reasons "Why". |

As I read, I just wanted to send a basket of hugs your way and then I was thinking. Sometimes the answers come to us when we go home. Funny how that is. I like this poem - it makes me think. Alison |
