Share the Truth With Me What's meant to be, with You and I, As time goes by, my heart in hand? The sun shall rise, with moon in sky. Each day shall come, while here I stand To help you make it through the years, As time goes by, my heart in hand. With less the shedding of the tears While crossing over shadows' hold To help you make it through the years. Allowing feelings to unfold For trusting, listening with your heart While crossing over shadows' hold. Those paths we take, sometimes apart, Therein, the lessons to be learned For trusting, listening with your heart. Those storms will pass when winds have turned. Therein, the lessons to be learned. What's meant to be, with You and I... What's meant to be, with You and I? M "Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less." (Will Moss) |

Well this is a form I'm not familiar with myself, looks very interesting, and I must say that though I do not know the rules, you seem to have got this all tied up very delightfully. Enjoyed very much Heart2Heart |

I sure enjoy reading but I guess I still haven't grown up enough to understand/learn what it's all about...makes pretty words and lines though...(must have had a lack of oxygen to my brain when I was younger). ...I mean, you don't have to know all the in's and out's of a beautiful flower to know it's beautiful, do you?? So, I don't rack my brain over the different forms anymore... if it's pretty, it's pretty, whatever the reason. Only complaint i have about the various forms is...I can't do it!! Darn it!! chargrinnnned! j. |

Thank you Lindsay. I appreciate you taking the time to respond. I think I have run out of "fantasy" writings and if it wasn't for the challenges, these days might be over. jw, I hope your grandchild is doing better. I am just following the workshop explanations...but I was listening to Barbra Striesand this afternoon while trying to relax on the porch swing and I felt I needed to "do" something to calm my brain from all those thoughts that are worrisome lately. I am sure those who drive by my busy corner must think me strange every afternoon between 3 and 5. M |

Your thoughts are very effectfully expressed here, dear Maureen. I think the different forms of poetry are a great exercise and do help to stop the worrying around our problems and bring some clarity. Very good job! Oh, I envy you for the possibility to relax on the swing! Love, Margherita |

Sue, glad you enjoyed it even though I made a line or two mistakes on the Terzanelle. Thank you, brneyedgrly for revisiting. Linda, aren't the challenges fun? You are doing a great job, too. Margherita, thank you and I am making sure that I am making the time for myself this year. And I treated myself to a new birthday swing since my other wicker one finally gave way after 25 years. Bill, whispering back to you... M |
