I had a thought But then I lost it… I imagine you’d get a kick out of that. You’d probably make some playfully witty remark about how: “That’s a first” Well… You were on my mind today. I just thought you should know that. I suppose that’s the simple point to my original thought But the wording was better in my original thought. It was more creative. With clever assessments and such. Like comparing your brilliance to sapphire Or your grandness to sunset silhouettes… …or something like that… See? Now it just sounds cheesy… Maybe it was better just as a thought. Purely you, not so much with words. But you can’t read my thoughts, can you? A pity, our limitations. So maybe this will do for the time being: I like you. |
