I don't want it to rain,
I've had enough of the pain,
your pride and self gain,

My eyes are beaten and sore,
why do I ask you for more,
nothing is better than before,

I don't want it to rain,
I can't get it in my brain,
your love is a wrecked train,

Nothing ever changes,
just going through stages,
birds in trapped cages,

You hurt me with your lies,
broke my heart with fake cries,
see the pain inside my eyes,

This merry go round,
I am lost then I am found,
bury my heart into the ground,

I don't want it to rain,
my heart can't take the pain,
trying to wash away your stain,

Trapped inside this empty tomb,
our love never escaped the womb,
It just died inside of me,

Slowly the sun begins to shine,
you go your way, I'll go mine,
you'll be ok, and I'll be fine,

I don't want it to rain,
I have had enough pain,
loving you was in vain.

Oh, does this ever ache. A curious thing is that I am working on an Etheree for the PW and my poem is about a love that was "Lost and Found." The losing part is the pits!

A sad song that touches the heart, Romantic One.

Sounds like you need to turn over a new leaf, ARH. I don't think love is supposed to hurt, but from what I read, it seems to, more often than not.
