it stings at first when you puncture skin then you get used to it soon its so beautyful something so perminent something thats forever it stays with you no matter which road you take it dosent care where you go its there on ur heart for all to see just like a tattoo __________________ comments are encouraged! |

I like the thoughts here, but if you could expand on it maybe, try to expand the metaphor and tell us what you are comparing tattoos to. Love? Heartache? |

I think each person has a different view of this poem. I, myself, am thinking it is about heartbreak that wounds your heart but you keep living and you realize that all wounds close all cuts heal. And all your left of that person is a scar just like a tatoo. May not of been the authors idea of what they were writing but each mind is different. I really enjoyed the poem even if it wasn't that of my perception. I really hope to see more of it's standerd from you, m48, in the future. M |
