I wrote this poem for my mum for christmas. *** Many people aren’t as lucky as me, For nobody has a mother as good as mine. I hope to be like her in all her shine, Although I would like to be able to make a meal to dine. But she is mine, My mother. Sugar and spice and everything nice, She keeps a hidden recipe for ice. She may not be the smartest And has a child who’s a smartass But she is mine, My mother Until the very end, I’ll always have a friend, My mother. *** |

i like this alot. it is a different structure than i am used to seeing and i think it works well for you. good job  |
