So i suck at free verse.. but i like a challange.. so here goes..

We stand upon the turning of a page.
Amongst the fallen we rise above,
bound to survive whatever comes our way-

We are the broken, beaten and the damned,
the thickest of all oils yet as weak as water.
Hopless yet hopefull,we will make it through the day.

Tired and weak, dragging along
this mirror shows the inner strengths
the talents that lie within.

I am but an opened book,
full of wonder- lined with thought.
Between the lines,
somewhere deeper than the words themselves,
lies my true identity
