Sunshine Vs Night

Brightly lit sky above her
the ground beneath her feet
laying upon a bed of petals
She feels at home even when she is all alone
Until the sky turns to darkness and the stars appear
No longer is she laying here
She looks to the sunshine the happy moments of her life
The night becomes a rampage of emotions
the stirring of her heart and soul
In the sunshine she is happy loved and whole
The dark of night once held her tight but she will choose to let go
Now she looks for the brightly lit sky above her and allows herself to once again feel the sunshine; to once again be whole
The sun will fade and darkness will once again appear.
No longer will she fear, she has found herself in the sunshine against the night

I really like this poem, i felt that maybe you should somehow split up the 12th line, but either way it's good!

With God I am happy; sadness has no say in my life.
