Little girl don't you cry, I promise to stay and lie by your side. Ill wipe your tears and mend your heart, Never letting them break you apart. I was once so broken and dead inside, But then I was told by the love of my life: Make your bed within my heart, I'll glue back the pieces and we'll never be apart. She changed my tears to smiles, My frowns to laughter. She did what she promised and never lied, So let me help you feel alive. We can work through it together you see, So you don't end up as the person I thought I'd one day be. |
