Shows the struggles, but at end, its met with hope. a torn heart, that craves a simple smile ! enjoy. By: HopeAgain All the strength within Slowly dying out Leaving a heart behind Beating through the drought Hands begin to tremble Body beaten and weak Eyes tortured in the dark Afraid of that one peak One beat to the next And the heart lives on Forcing joy upon self Until a smile is drawn Rivers flow in my eyes A bouquet of pain in hand Every known walked away With a lonely heart I stand A long bumpy road ahead On which I must walk alone But this is a journey I must take Stand firm, avoid being thrown The road is nearing its end I must hold on for a while To pay in this corrupted world The cost for a simple smile . |
