Silent Death of a Heart

No talking.
The empty thoughts
of my mind's distress
echo
through the dormant walls
of my thoughts.

Time and time and time
I try to speak.
No voice
can break the silence
that stifles me.

Suffocates
my emotions; any emotion
I might try to feel
is lost.
Dissolved
on an unfeeling wind.

Filled with
vacant yearnings,
my chest aches
with
fate-condemned love;
burning through my heart.

Only ash
remains,
blackening
the pulsating mess
that spurts
bloody sorrow
through my veins;

Progressing
in the digression
of a fallen love.

Love.
Hope.
Beating.
Lost.
Want.
Thumping.
Depression.
Darkness.
Whispering.
Void.
Pain.
Silence.

Silent death of a heart.

*This may seem dark and it is, but it's also how I felt when he left and I'm a teenager so I'm posting it here. ~UNTAMEDelegance
