(I felt this one was more for teens, even though technically I'm an adult (18) I still feel like a Teenager.) It's just a pencil You said it again I laughed I smiled I joked It's just a pencil Yeah, it's just a pencil Every day, it was just a pencil Every day, it was just a smile Every day, it was you Give me a moment to spy you in the halls Give me a moment to smell your perfume I'm falling in love with you You don't even know It makes me laugh 'cause you'll never know Even if I did all I could to show It'd be like twisting a knot in a rainbow You wouldn't see You wouldn't care It's just a pencil My mind of darkness, my mind of sin It's just a pencil This thought might just send me straight to hell What then? Angels tear drops on my cheek Like the rain in the street Daemons tell me I don't deserve you I don't deserve you Where do I get the nerve to Believe that I Deserve you. "We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars." Oscar Wilde |
