Okay so the title sucks. Probably because its early and I just finished breakfast. I might rewrite this poem later. Anyway, enjoy. ------------------------------------------------ I slip into the blackness And dream me another tale Of my thoughts inside my head Where purity prevails I'll travel to space hanging on with all might The red and blue rockets Will sore into flight Stars will mimic fireflies Dancing around me so The moon hanging on strings And the earth spinning below The stars give me kisses As I balance on a spoon in milkyway I catch a comet and go for a ride Flying into the abyss far away I sit there wondering My thoughts falling into a swirl Dreams make more sense to me Then what lies outside this world I can feel daylight creeping Until another time dream land I'll wait until night fall To dream of you again |
