Im not really sure about a title for this so if u have any suggestions please feel free to share them See a young man pick up a gun Gettin' trapped where the bullet goes, Caught there forever In a predicament of content and woe. That moment follows him 'round A shadow always by his side For taking comfort in that trigger That he was sure would redeem his pride. The darkness whispers softly And taunts him with that day It sings of the little boy That he sent on his way. He thought nothing of it at the time Nothing of what the gun could do, Now he's trapped where that bullet went Thinking; if only then he knew. Yes, if only he knew then How the consequences would feel How that little boy would haunt him forever Yes,then he'd know that a gun could kill. Inside this exterior, over which the eye might have roved there was the record of a pulsing life, which had learnt too well for its years – Thomas Har |
