To my Mother.
These words i write for you.
These words i will also promise you.
For all the times, you held my hand.
For all the times, you'd understand.
These are the times i remember you most.
Everytime i would cry, for everytime i told a sneaky white lie.
You always knew.
You taught me how.
You showed me how to love and cherish.
& when i was down, you were always there.
You never lied to me, or said you didnt care.
& when i would cry you would hold me close.
You'd tell me it was my personality you loved the most.
But the one thing i truely hold onto.
Is you gave me a chance, and this i am grateful.
You taught me all you knew so i could grow.

& growing into the woman i am today, i feel i am ever so lucky to have you this way.
You've never failed or given up.

And when i am all alone, it will feel so wierd.
But i promised myself i would not cry.
For i will always have you, i know this is true.
You'll always be standing beside, seeing me through.

So i wont cry any tears and think of our memories.
I wont shed any sorrow for not having you with me.
Dear Mother.
I love you. Always.

I think this is beautiful. Made me think of my Mum too. Great job!

This poem is very touching. It helped me to remember  that I will always have my mom even though she can't physically be here with me.

If your parents never had children, chances are you won't, either.
