Part three of three *** Dear Victims, You are not alone. There are thousands like you Similar situations Same taunts Same threats You are not alone. You are not the only one Who has ‘learnt’ to keep their head down To avoid being noticed You are not the only one Who thinks they are a failure To everyone else You are not the only one Who cries themselves to sleep Each and every night You are not the only one Who lives in fear Of what tomorrow will bring You are not the only one Who thinks they are a major Disappointment You are not the only one Who gets teased and taunted Who gets tripped and hit You are not the only one Who counts the days Until school ends You are not the only one Who wakes up Knowing today won’t be different You are not the only one Who hates to be You You are not the only one Who can’t stand up For themselves You are not the only one Who wonders how the bystanders can Laugh and cheer You are not the only one Who wishes someone would Just see You are not the only one Who sees No way out You are not the only one You are not the only one You are not the only one So say STOP So say HELP There is no shame In wanting it to end But do it so the innocent Don’t get hurt But do it so you see The bullies get punished Don’t do it so you Forever lay underground Not knowing if your death bought justice. Don’t do it so your Parents Friends Strangers you didn’t even know you meant something to Suffer forever over their mistakes Forever telling themselves that They could’ve helped They could’ve done something They could’ve seen Your mum and dad Will miss you Your friends Will miss you And don’t think you don’t have any friends ‘cause you do You just don't realise it You’re old ones will blame themselves too Strangers will miss you The girl you sit next to on the bus The boy who takes your order every morning For coffee Even if you never noticed them But they know you The teachers who have taught you Every single year Will miss you They will all forever torment themselves with The question everyone will be asking: Could I have done anything? So don’t kill yourself Don’t let the innocent suffer For what the guilty has done Just say STOP Just say HELP Because you have THE RIGHT TO FEEL SAFE So ask for help It won’t solve everything immediately But it will start the dominos falling It will start the trials for the guilty It will start a better tomorrow "If I am an angel paint me with black wings"-Anne Rice |

You made some very good points in all three postings. I have always said to students( very young ones) that when someone bullies or picks on another it is because they don't feel good about themselves. M |

I've been on the receiving end of terror and bullying. It motivated me to murder, though I couldn't get a gun at the time. I've also been the bully, but only because my own terror drove me to terrorize others so they could feel as helpless as I did. Now that that part of my life is behind me, I can honestly regret my choices with heartfelt remorse, and forgive the ones who tormented me, if I myself wish to be forgiven. But it almost seems as if those who do these things are losing all sense of conscience and decency, and have little remorse and it's becoming easier to be hard hearted these days. I delight in your sensitive outlook to this foolish and needless past time. Thanks for sharing. ·´~`·»Garapan«·´~`· "Look! Crumbs on his jacketses... Heeee took it!" |
