I see a girl in a window pane, Tears falling from her eyes like rain. Her hair covered in sweat and tears, Her eyes revealing all of her hidden fears. I think to myself as I watch her cry, Why do people even try? I stare at her eyes so blue, And wonder if I am crying too. I lift my hand and wipe a tear, It was then I registered my greatest fear. She mirrored my action, And to my dissatisfaction, I realized my best friend and worst enemy, Were in fact me… |
