Your jacket hangs in my room, Like your face hangs in my mind Sometimes I can't believe that You, of all, are mine The night goes on, I find a reason To stay up, to be awake In the early morning I see the dawn as it breaks I begin to understand you But the pieces don't connect You are a puzzle to my being My very state of mind How should I react to your inconsistencies? Am I more or less remembered? Your silly simple ways keep me stilled But I don't know what to do Swimming in the dark Like a goldfish in a box That never knows there's light or day I go on in never ending blindness Rawr!!!!! (That means "I love you" in Dinosaur) :) |

Good poem! Loved the last stanza the most! "When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car" |
