Softly stilting, falling down;
a teardrop on a frozen ground.
A smile with a hint of frown
that silky sadness tries to drown.

She's the teardrop, he's the rain
that shelters her from all the pain;
disguises her and keeps her sane.
His lady-love, his liquid dame.

He's her savior; he's her light.
When she's blinded, he's her sight.
A pinpoint light that sets all right;
and penetrates the deepest night.

She's his refuge, his salvation;
his soft and gentle, lovely haven.
Requiem from all damnation;
the love that fills his all sensation.

Raindrops dripping from the sky.
She loves him when he breaks and cries.
He loves her when she's lost and shy.
Together loving 'til they die.

Nothing is more painful than realizing he meant everything to you, but you meant nothing to him. (Unknown)
