A once-lovely concept was drowned by democracy. The rules and the precepts; the putrid bureaucracy, Turning a deaf ear to everything we've got to say. The laws and the lying of this desecrated government, turn a blind eye to the dying of the innocent. Drowning out their dreams and taking all their hopes away. Taking all their hopes away. The blighted corruption, taking over sanity, Desensitizing children, promoting their antipathy. Beating out dissention hearing only what they want to hear. Perforating madness at where the world is taking us. Consequential chaos; societally self-combust! Self-inflicted justice destroying things we once held dear. The fall of everything held dear. Nothing is more painful than realizing he meant everything to you, but you meant nothing to him. (Unknown) |

It's sad how everything you wrote is all too true. Great poem about the injustices of the world! -Lee |
