I close my eyes & try to fall into a place
where thoughts of her wont break my heart
but as soon as my head hits the pillow
my heart drops to my stomach
because i picture her face..
i see those eyes that i so easily fall into
& that smile that takes my breath away
i open my eyes because i cant handle it anymore
it hurts to see her
because i know she isnt mine
& i know that those lips that used to speak my
name so softly
will never again tell me they love me
i know that those eyes that take me away
wont ever look at me the same..
its breaking my heart
and tearing me apart
but theres noting i can do
to prove that im over the games
& the good byes
theres no words i can say that can make
this all okay.. ..
