This wall I'm building
to keep you out
to hide my pain
to never be hurt again
That is why I'm building this wall

I'm all alone in my thoughts
they're tearing me apart
no one to share with
I've pushed you away

This wall I built
to hide myself
to hide my past
to never have to feel it again
That is why I built this wall

I'm all alone in my thoughts
they're tearing me apart
no one to share with
I've pushed you away

This wall I sit behind
to be all alone
to hide in the dark
to never be bothered again
this is why I sit behind this wall

I'm all alone in my thoughts
they're tearing me apart
no one to share with
I've pushed you away

This wall I'm tearing down
to rebuild my life
to feel again
to never rebuild
That is why I am tearing down this wall

I'm still all alone in my thoughts
they're still tearing me apart
no one to share with
I've pushed everyone away
