I Sleep And Remain Tired I sleep To forget All the Awful things They say I hug the Bear you gave Me and I Ashamedly let my Tears rain down Only weaklings cry says Too proud inner voice But does that voice Know that I am Too tired to care? My dreams do not aid Me in my search for Peace tonight. And I fear I will be awake till Dawn, wandering my restless mind Screaming ‘peace I cannot find’ This too skinny weakling Has a proud mind That does not care That I still remain Much, much too tired I hug the Bear you gave Me and I Ashamedly let my Tears rain down I sleep And Hope I forget What they Said tonight I Sleep And Remain Exhausted |

Hey, it's been a while... I could really relate to this. Except usually I don't actually get the sleep... Normally, I'd say it was lengthy, but I'd be totally wrong. Good, concise use of words. There is power in the pen. |

Ha! I liked they way you started this out.. Why did you use tired in the first one and exhausted in the last? |

Like most of the things I write, it's a story, or a process of emotions, if you will. Like, the longer something is able to bother you, the more drained, the more defeated you become. Thanks, ya'll. |
