I can't understand/ the seas are rushing, the waves overcoming me/ struck, trapped, held/ the watchful eyes has turned/ the light and beacon I was looking to is gone/ my body frail, painted with colors dark as night/ weak, helpless/ crawling towards what I can't see/ holding this torch that'll never be lit/ no thoughts/ caught in webs/ being eaten slowly by my captor/ calling out, where is my savior, where is my light/ screaming, groaning, moaning/ an empty hall is all that receives me/ nothing to stop the dragging, no one to calm the seas |

Tons of content there, almost every break can be expanded upon to a full poem on its own. It made me feel confusion and anxiety , good write. |

Your write is so familiar - like when awakened from a claustrophobic nightmare, excellent imagery |

Futility in each worded phrase. I can feel the isolation clear over here. It was just a thought which made them run. It was just an act that killed them. |

So darkly reflective. Brings all the lost lonely moments to the surface of your memories. ~Lia |
