I miss you and you say you miss me to;
Yet you dont make an attempt to come find me

I care about you and you say you care to;
Yet you weren't always there for me

I've done wrong so many times in my life;
Still I stand on this earth today

To so many I'm a grave mistake;
Hopefully in her eyes I'll be her salvation

I look down with a heavy heart;
Only to look up into the lies of so many

To hope that I one day succeed;
While she will continue on in my footsteps

So why are my failures among such watchful eyes;
What do I have to offer thee?

A better life than I have my own?;
Or to cause her pain as others have upon me

For I want nothing but the best;
My beautiful soul of mine

To be gracious upon others;
To be nothing but kind

I have been scared throughout my whole life;
That everyday was my last night

For I was once blood spilled from my vains;
I wanted nothing else but to feel pain

Now several years have gone by;
And I hope that I have changed

I now know what its like for others;
For now I am a mother to a daughter

I remember what I was like so long ago;
Helpless, Alone, Scared, and Afraid

Yet sometimes still I feel like that today;
However a miracle has come my way

My miracle, my blue eyed selfless child;
Whos still young and helpless for her age

Yet I'm not sure if one day she'll know;
About my words that I'm about to show

For my daughter saved me;
With her very own life

If it wasn't for her;
I wouldnt be here tonight

Because of a child so small and fine;
My life has been saved just in time

It hurts me that I'm really crying tears;
That because of my child, I'm still here

For one day when shes older;
I'll tell her what shes done

Can't believe a child can save a life;
Especially so young

I will never want to say words of goodbye;
That day so many tears will fall from my eyes

I miss you and you say that you miss me to;
No matter what happens

Even until my very last breath;
I will always be there for you

To look down from the sky and see your face;
My beautiful Lily in my place
