Secret
Lies
Deceit
Betrayal.-
Poisoning the heart
Tarnishing the heart.-
Slowly I started keeping
Secrets
Slowly
I was being lied to
Slowly
Without knowing it
I was being deceived
And betrayed.-
Slowly my heart
Is getting filled up with poison
And slowly it’s getting tarnished.-
My heart has become gruesome
My heart has become melancholy
My heart is not optimistic
Instead it became pessimistic
My heart has been overtaken
By these negative feelings.-
My heart has become
Like an inert corpse
That doesn’t know the
Feeling of being jubilant
Feeling of being ecstatic.-
My heart beats
But it doesn’t know the meaning
Of life.
My heart beats
But it knows the meaning of
Darkness.-
How can my poor heart go on?
How can I go on?
For how long will I and my heart suffer?
For how……long?-

You captured the emotion beautifully, but it did get somewhat repetitive towards the end. I loved your word choice and if flowed nicely.
