Silly little pills resting in my open palm. They catch the dull, white light and shimmer dimly. These little pills, the silly little doctor says, will make my head 'right'. Silly little pills popped into my mouth. The water cold and clear with a metallic taste. These little pills, the silly little doctor never said, would fill me with hate and fear. Silly little pills clamoring in their case. I shake them and they bash together making an angry rattle. These little pills, the silly little doctor never knew, would make me uncontrollable like the weather. Stupid little pills mangling me inside out. They make me see what is not there and force me to act in ways I'd never dare. These little pills, the cruel doctor lied, fixed a minor problem but now my mind will never repair. |

Thank you very much, both of you. It always means so much to hear feedback on my little poems, especially when that feedback is that they were enjoyed. |

"silly little doctor" is right... i love how doctors think they can send you away with a bottle of chemicals and expect something more than palliative to happen. same thing happend to me, i got off them two weeks later and i've been managing a lot better ever since. |
