Engraved.

Is there a word
for children's pain?
If no one writes
their name,
are they
to blame?

Lost.

Love.

Lost love.

Lost tomorrows.

It is written
to be seen
in purple
scars.

Sorrow.

Endless
words.

No words
can describe
what is worn
in a crease,
in a care.

Yet they
are written,
here
for wondering eyes
to ponder.

Words.

A soul.

A heartbeat.

whispers.

Jasmine flowers,
and lilac
butterflies.
Mysteries
of a womans
inner page,
her womb,
her love.

Silence.

Which way
has the song
fled
after
it was sung
in words?

Where are
the words?

Here,
in violet eyes.
feel the words
gaze upon
your skin.

Look.

See.

Essence
is just
a word.

Essence.

Engraved.

Displayed.

Save me
with your
words.
