Why is the sky blue?
- The tears of the world are the paint
Why does the wind blow?
- People are sighing out of disappointment and hurt
Why are there earthquakes?
- Millions of hearts are breaking.
Why am I an outcast?
- Because I am me.

This strikes a good 4-note chord, not complete without all. A 5-noter might've been too crowded... "I used to have pimples like erupting volcanoes"?

All of your metaphors here work well in the mind, and believe me, the outcast learns a lot, including (if wanted) not to always be an outcast.
