I tried to talk, to someone,
to anyone. It didn't work.
the words wouldn't speak
I'm selfish, beyond a doubt
for not wanting it.
what so many passed-on people
would've died for.
I tried, ok? It didn't work.
The miles I ran,
slow and fast,
biting and angry.
they didn't do anything.
I tried to kill them.
the thoughts,
that stung and cut me,
by hurting myself.
It didn't work.
Did I ever think it would?
Yes? No? I don't remember.
It's been too long.
So long, I don't remember
when it started.
how it started.
doesn't matter anyway,
but it has to end.

I understand the frustration of not being able to talk about things with someone.
Sometimes writing is all we have.
