Hope She stood in the doorway Not knowing she would see Inside the truth Inside of me It's always been a secret Something she could never find out And now that she has I know there is doubt Will she still love me Or just run and hide For now I have nothing Not even my pride Please don't leave me Now that you know I desperately need help My heart please don't throw I once was cornered And now you have found My true voice within me Screaming with no sound I've carried this burden Held onto this rope Dealt with the burning But now There is hope I walk in the clouds, I sing in the dust |
