Death

To lay stiff
Emotions absence
Feeling nothing
But loneliness
And gut wrench

The tides of life
Have past me
Goodbye
Not halted

My dreams
Have withered to dust
Swirling anxiously
In cold embrace
The pride I obtained
Is shattered

I have been swallowed by fate
Regurgitated
By reality

This heart will cease to beat again

May fates path fulfill your dreams.
