I hate the words you speak to me I hate the way you make me scream I hate how you can get your way With every little word you say I hate the smile on your face I hate the way you make me stay I hate your mouth all over me I hate that you won't let me be I hate it when you come inside Seducing me with all your lies I hate how you don't understand Just how much I hate those hands I hate the broken bedroom door That I walked in with nothing more Than all the innocence I had I hate myself for going back I hate that you won't ever know The hatred that I'll never show I hate the world for what it's done I hate this monster you've become Emily Shives |

A great poem Emily. But your hidden monster, cruel sedition and angry regret can't help but plant the seed of fear in my mind. Never sigh for a better world, it's already composed, played and told. |

This is a simple and straight forward poem. The feeling of despair, regret and a sense of loss of innocence can be felt throughout this entire piece. It was a nice read, Slowly. - If I cant bend Heaven, I shall move Hell - |
