What shall I do with the love that was meant for you There's no one else in my life I want to give it to You're the one I've needed, the one I thought who'd care But time marches on and still again you're never there We've each had our heartaches, our love has been tested To me you were the spider and I was ingested I'm deep in your belly, I can feel the acids But you haven't seen it, to you my life seems placid Each day is a struggle for me, I'm just the fly Such a tangled web you weaved, but I refuse to die Work like money doesn't matter, love like you've never been hurt, dance like nobody's watching... |

What the surfacing metaphors reveal are far deeper than merely a fantasy in the dark. Very well conceived poetry. ...just bein' Bluesy |
