Hello To Fall (3 Haiku's)

With end of summer,
comes autumn's vibrant colors,
then falling of leaves.

Smell of pumpkin spice
carried by September air,
brings thoughts of falls past.

At end of August,
I say "Adieu" to summer
and "Hello" to fall.

Well hello..hello..lol!

mmmmm...I can smell that pumpkin spice...I love making and baking pumpkin pies and smelling the aroma all through the house..

hey want to wait together for the "Great Pumpkin?"

Strange..that photo looks like a place where I grew up? a lake I would visit....mmmm.lol!

You are a pure delight, dear Michael! And I thought of your most lovely haiku series (I read it yesterday evening), when just a while ago a big golden leave fell upon my car just in front of my eyes.

I love the autumn and you did it great justice with your haikus. Makes me want it to hurry up and come, but I think a few more weeks of summer and my kayak would do me good, so I will have to wait some.

My favorite time of year Artic Wind...something elemental stirs within me, as the season beckons...not to rush away the warmth of August but just as any good clock, anticipation ticks in second hands!
