Last Sunday she turned ninety seven, they still don't want her there, in Heaven. Enjoying life as it comes her way, blessing each and every day.  I picked her up in my big Van, she loves to drive around and then, we found a place at the shore of sea, had an inside lunch, just her and me  We sit and watch the folks go by and look at kites that flew real high. Too much wind, to go for a walk, we eat our food and laugh and talk. She tells the stories of her past and realized, that time went fast. "You know, I never understand why, I live so long, while youngsters die".  "Do you know how many shades of green, on each one of our trips I've seen?". "Look how beautiful that heron walks". I smile and listen, while she talks.  Last Sunday she turned ninety seven, my Mom was born in nineteen eleven. "My secret? Well, you may call me mad, but I want to be happy, even when I'm sad". Muys is beautiful ... inside and out~ My grandie girls LOVE hearing me tell them about Momma Muys~  She is a part of their nightly prayers~ My son tells me that they ask God to "be good to ~Poet's Momma Muys."  Momma Muys~ You look GREAT old gal~ I had always planned on shooting for 92, but ... you sure do make 97 look like a deal I should consider~ LOVE YOU ... thanks so much for the photos, Titia~ Delaney and Landry will like it when I show the pictures to them~ *Huglets*  AND ... Happy 97th, Momma Muys~ ~*Marge*~ ~*The sound of a kiss is not as strong as that of a cannon, but it's echo endures much longer*~ |

Wonderfully done, Titia and I love the pictures, too. I've just had recent news or a request from my mother to come and live here with me...She is only 84, but like your Mom, is full of life. Hope the Birthday was a treat for all. M |

Thanks for friendship shown to me, in all your countries, my heart will be. Muys I wrote a thank you poem in Dutch and Titia made the translation. Life on the internet begins at...90! And it's lasting 4 years already! |

Dear Mama Muys, I think you're grand And younger folks don't understand That Ninety's what Sixty used to be And we're not done yet, you and me. We may feel guilty because we're here And other folks that we hold dear Are gone. We're just pioneers of the way All folks will live long lives some day. Love, Joyce |
